Whilst beach cleaning we found these egg cases of Thornback Ray (Raja clavata) – bottom; and Spotted Ray (Raja montagui) – top.
Salix lapponum (Downy willows)
We managed to get all the Salix lapponum (Downy willows) out of the polytunnel in-between the heavier showers.
Some of us stayed drier by planting apple seed indoors.
Thanks to Peter, Angus, Ruaridh, Chris, Geoff for persevering through the wet and cold and the muddy shed.
