A very productive day at the archaeological site in Knockman Wood today boosted by a team of students and staff from the Scottish Rural College (SRUC), Ayr.
Salix lapponum (Downy willows)
We managed to get all the Salix lapponum (Downy willows) out of the polytunnel in-between the heavier showers.
Some of us stayed drier by planting apple seed indoors.
Thanks to Peter, Angus, Ruaridh, Chris, Geoff for persevering through the wet and cold and the muddy shed.
