Volunteers are essential in the delivery of the Cree Valley Woodlands project.  Volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and enjoy healthy exercise in the fresh air and wonderful scenery of the Cree Valley.

Volunteering in the woodlands takes place on Wednesdays.

Working at their own pace, volunteers have the satisfaction of knowing that they are contributing to the enhancement of the Cree Valley woodlands.

Tasks can include tree nursery work (currently our main focus); path maintenance, conifer weeding, tree planting and bird/bat box construction and placement.

There are also volunteering opportunities involving wildlife surveys and monitoring.
